Confirming and paying for tournament passes
Team registration closes on 11 April 2027.
Teams are asked to provide an estimated number of tournament passes when registering. The final number of each pass type must be confirmed by 14 April 2027. Tournament pass invoices are due on 25 April 2027.
Cancellation policy
Team registration fees
The team registration fee will be refunded if the cancellation is made by 1 January 2027. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after this date.
Tournament pass fees
Tournament passes can be cancelled free of charge until 14 April 2027. Any pass fees already paid will be refunded in full for cancellations made by this date.
For cancellations made on or after 15 April 2027, refunds will only be issued in cases of illness, as follows:
- A pass: refund of €65 per pass
- Meal pass: refund of €10 per pass
- B pass: full refund
- Coach/team official pass: refund of €30 per pass
This cancellation policy also applies to unpaid tournament passes. If a pass is cancelled on or after 15 April 2027, payment is still required. In cases of illness, the applicable refund amount listed above will be deducted from the invoice. The payment due date of 25 April 2027 is not the deadline for free cancellation.
Cancellations and refund requests
Please send all cancellations and refund requests by email to helsinkibasketballfestival@hnmky.fi.
Include the following information:
- Team name and competition category
- Type and number of tournament passes being cancelled
- Team’s bank account number (IBAN) and account holder’s name, if a refund is required
Refunds will only be processed at the request of the team manager or team contact person and will be paid to the team’s bank account.
Cancellation of the tournament or a competition category
If the organiser cancels the tournament or your competition category is not held, all paid team registration and tournament pass fees will be refunded in full.
If a team has to withdraw after the tournament has started, any refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
